The Strauhs CNG fueling stations are compact units, consisting of a compressor unit installed on a metallic structure (skid), containing all the elements necessary for compression, storage and distribution of the gas.
The Hurricane compressors are manufactured in North-America, designed to work exclusively with CNG. They supply flows of up to 127 Nm3/h, and are ideal for supplying fork-lift trucks or for fleets of vehicles. They operate with low suction pressures of up to 0.9 barg, and are thus the ideal choice for use in factories, where the pressures available are generally of this order. Hundreds of units are in operation in the USA.
The control panel is based on a PLC, mounted on the skid, or at a distance, which controls and monitors the functioning of the compressor. The system detects, indicates and shuts down the compressor when abnormal conditions occur, such as low oil pressure, high discharge temperature, low and high suction pressure, high discharge pressure etc. Installation is explosion-proof and intrinsically safe.
The cabins provide protection against the weather and attenuate the noise generated by the compressor, maintaining them within the limits suitable for installation in urban areas.
